Pre-orders for batch 2 can be refunded up until fulfillment. Warranty is 90 days from Date of Purchase. Warranty covers defects due to manufacturing. Physical,heat, and water damage are not covered in the warranty. Due to the nature of the product, non-warranty related returns will be accepted within (2) weeks after confirmed arrival. Product must be shipped back at customers expense in working order. Once receipt of delivery is confirmed, a full refund (minus shipping costs) will be applied to the original payment method. Yes, you can customize and upload your own .mp3 files. On-board storage is limited so you will have to remove some or all of our onboard sounds but you can put your own sounds.

Whichever is the last greeting you heard/selected is the greeting WAIFU PRISON! will keep until you change it again. It is not randomized and there is not currently an option to randomize sounds.

Usually this means that your cars cigarrete adapter is "always live". If the port is always powered the Waifu Prison will not operate properly. You can test to see if your port is always live by seeing if the blue indicator ring on the adapter stays lit after you turn off your car. (Some cars keep accessory power on for a limited time after it's off. This is okay but not ideal). The port MUST turn off when the car is off. Waifu Prison plays a greeting when it recieves power, so if your port is constantly giving it power it won't "know" when you start you car. When you start your car, the adapter starts sending power, thus a greeting plays. The only remedy for this is to consider hardwiring the Waifu Prison! We have kits available for this on the site.

If it happened in shipping we advise reaching out to the Postal Service for an insurance claim. Otherwise, physical damage is not covered under warranty. Please be rather delicate with this product. Although we use industrial grade adhesives to secure everything. It's possible for a user to damage or push-in a port. This is not covered. Handle with care.

Please verify by testing with both different cables and adapters to make sure there are no other causes for this issue. If the button continues not to work a cable has likely come loose. You can open up the unit (this will void warranty) and re-attach or check the cable or you can contact us for a warranty replacement.

The volume is adjustable via the buttons on the front of the device. If you hold the buttons down you will hear a "bloop" sound effect to let you know the volume is being adjusted. Each sound indicates one notch of volume being changed. Left button hold: volume down Right button hold: volume up

With the included cable, plug the Waifu Prison! into a windows based computer. Once plugged in the device will register as WAIFUPRISON and show up as a hard-drive/removeable storage/flash drive You will have access to the sound files on the device. You MUST delete some or all of the sounds to make room for your audio. We fill the Waifu Prison! completely full of audio for you. You can then drag in your own .mp3 soundfiles. Anything other than .mp3 will not be played. Once you've finished uploading your mp3 sounds, right click the drive and choose "eject."

Usually this issue occurs when Waifu Prison! is registered as a hard-drive. If you are plugging the usb cable into a port on your car instead of the included adapter it is possible your car is picking up the unit as a "portable storage device." This issue may also occur on consoles or PCs. The solution for this is to use the included adapter or use a micro or usb-c cable WITHOUT data in it. The included cable is data-enabled so users can upload their own sounds. Non-data cables can be had for a couple dollars online.

Earlier units use resistors that make the units pretty sensitive. Please be sure to mount the Waifu Prison in a secure location where it won't be bumped or jostled often to help reduce the chance of this happening. If it persists without being touched please follow these steps: Plug Waifu Prison into a windows computer Open up the WAIFUPRISON drive Open the txt file titled CFG Verify that the settings are set to (you can copy and paste these) mode=mb01 loop=no time=0 If mode is not mb01 please change it to mb01. If loop is on, change it to no. Save the file after making any necessary changes If this does not resolve the issue please reach out for further troubleshooting.

A couple things to verify: Please use the included cable and cigarette adapter with "OUT OF LOVE" branding. Please verify all of the connections are secure. The adapter is firmly plugged into the car and the usb cable is attached to the Waifu Prison! Does the cigarette lighter have a blue ring lit up? If it does not then this is an issue with the cars port or with the cigarette adapter. Test with a different adapter to verify which is the issue. Is the volume all the way down on the unit? Hold the right button down for 5-10 seconds. If the unit is receiving power you should hear "bloop" sounds indicating that the volume is being turned up.
